Ruben V.
Jaghinyan was born on 28 April 1969, in Yerevan,
(Armenia).
In 1994 graduated the Electrotechnical Engineering
Department of the Yerevan State Polytechnic Institute.
From 1987 to
1989 he served in the Soviet Army.
From 1991 to 1994 he played in
the Major League of the “Club of the Funny and Inventive” (CMI) in the
Yerevan Medical Institute (YMI) team, which twice became a champion of the
Major League in 1992 and 1994.
Professional activity
From
1991 to 2013 he was the general director of “SHARM Holding”
From
2013 to 2019 he was the Chairman of the Council of Public TV and Radio
Company of Armenia
In 2019 he was appointed as the President of the
National Film Academy of Armenia.
From 2005 to 2009 - the
project manager of “Yerevan” magazine
From 2005 is a member of
International Academy of Radio and Television
From 2006 is a member of
the Union of Cinematographers of Armenia
From 2006 to 2011 - the
supervisor of “Arts Management” course in the Yerevan State Institute
of Theatre and Cinema
